HMK is a Boise-based, women-led organization that specializes in marketing, storytelling, and community-building. Together, we bring over 30 years of experience in content creation, writing, data analysis, and leadership.

We are storytellers, nonprofit leaders, project managers, & operations directors

While our story began in the sage-covered hills of the Great Basin, we have filled different roles on the local, national and global stages. Whether directing educational centers, serving on the board of local nonprofits, educating today’s youth, or protecting the environment for future generations: we strive to uplift diverse communities.

As a women-led organization with children of our own, we are inspired by the initiatives of the European Union’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in building a better tomorrow for our future generations. As Europe strides in front of the United States in sustainability, responsibility, and transparency, we aim to be on the front end normalizing impact reporting and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives in our communities.

Stories relay the truth about human experience. Shedding light on the characteristics that unite us all, good narratives highlight what makes us unique as individuals while fostering an understanding of our place in the greater societal ecosystem. A story must have a beginning, middle, and end, but a great story can spur social change and challenge our preconceived notions about our internal and external lives. We are dedicated to ensuring that everyone’s story is heard and shared. Join us. This is just the beginning.
